PROFILE The 40 TB is a microprocessor based, 2-channel alarm unit, format 96x96 (1/4 DIN), manufactured with SMT.
The operator interface is comprehensive and efficient, with two process variables and two 4-digit displays, and engineering unit indications.
Three LEDs indicate the output status, while 3 more LEDs can be configured to indicate different functional conditions.
It is also equipped with a red LED bar graph, which can be associated to process variables and to peak values.
The instrument has a Lexan membrane faceplate with 4 keys (guaranteed to IP65).
Channel 1 has strain gauge, pressure or force sensor inputs, with positive or symmetrical polarizations, calibration with sensitivity auto-calculation (from 1,5 up to 4 mV/V), indication of probe power supply break.
The first input channel can also receive signals from potentiometers with 100 Ohm min. resistance.
The second input channel can be configured for inputs from temperature sensors (TC, RTD, PTC, NTC) and for mV, V, mA signals, with the ability to have of having a customized input for each kind of sensor.
The A/D converter performance can be configured via keyboard, so that different options of sampling time can be selected, depending on the desired resolution.
Sampling time can be as low as 15 milliseconds, while resolution can reach a maximum value of 16,000 divisions (by a 120 milliseconds. sampling time).
The selection of the different options is available from keyboard. There is the possibility of having two digital inputs from voltage-free contacts, configurable for functions such as reset, hold, flash, peak or memory reset control.
The serial communication option may have current loop, RS422/ 485 and RS232 connections with baud rate up to 19200.
The instruments can be equipped with up to three relay (5A/250V) or static (0-11Vdc) outputs. Two voltage or current analogue outputs are available for the retransmission of inputs, of alarm sets, of gross and tare values.
The option "transmitter power supply" is foreseen for each input channel. For channel 1 it could be: 1V (potentiometer), 5 and 10V (strain-gauge), 15 and 24V; for channel 2: 15 and 24Vdc.
The programming of the instrument is made easy by grouping the parameters in function blocks and by a simplified data entry menu.
The configuration can be simplified even further using the PC programming kit containing connection cable and a menu guide program that runs under Windows (see technical data code 80020).
A configurable personal software protection code (password protection) can be used to restrict the levels of editing and displaying the configuration parameters.

Wednesday, June 14, 2017 12:31:00 AM America/Los_Angeles
30, 60, 80 kW in single phase and three phase
The GFX4-IR is a four independent loop controller, designed to manage electrical power.
It is a compact unit combining different technological elements like:
• Controller
• Current transformers
• Solid state relay
• Fuses-holders (option)
The GFX4-IR is managed by a microprocessor that independently controls the 4 control loops and also runs functions specifically designed to manage single phase and three phase loads, with low and high temperature coefficient, short wave and medium infrared lamps, and transformer primary circuits.
In terms of space and cabling it provides a significant cost saving.
The multiple activation methods are all software-configurable, and include:
- Zero crossing with constant cycle time for conventional loads
- Burst firing with variable cycle time for systems with low thermal inertia, medium wave
IR lamps
- Single cycle for short wave IR lamps with reduced flickering (half single cycle)
GFX4IR runs complete diagnostics of current, voltage, and temperature levels.
- Phase angle control with current limit for short wave IR lamps, transformer primaries, with assignment of soft start up and soft stop down options with limitation of maximum rms current.

Various feedback functions in the absence of PID control have been developed for complete control of loads in all types of applications:
- Voltage feedback (V) with current limit
- Current feedback (I)
- Power feedback with maximum power limit
Controller

GFX4-IR dialogs with the operator terminals according to the most popular protocols: from the simple and efficient Modbus to (via a second optional fieldbus communication) the by-now indispensable Profibus DP, CANopen, DeviceNet, Modbus RTU, Ethernet Modbus TCP, and Ethernet IP.
The product comes with a standard configuration that is simple and quick to modify, for example, to assign different functions to outputs.
The Gefran Impact sensors are absence of filling fluid
Wednesday, June 14, 2017 12:37:54 AM America/Los_Angeles
This means that Impact I series Melt Pressure Transmitter is the right choice for Mercury free, food and medical application. Without transmission fluid, it’s perfect for use in high temperature applications (662F, 350°C).
Pressure ranges:
0-100 to 0-1000 bar / 0-1500 to 0-15000 psi
Medium pressure is transferred directly to the sensitive silicon element via a thick diaphragm. Strain is transduced by a micro-machined silicon structure (MEMS). This operating principle is called piezo resistive. The micro structure includes the measurement membrane and piezo resistors. The minimum deflection required by the sensitive element makes it possible to use very robust mechanics. The process contact membrane can be up to 15 times thicker than the membrane used in traditional Melt sensors.
Performance Level "C" compliance
Pressure ranges: 0-1500 to 0-15000 psi/0-100 to 0-1000 bar
Accuracy: < ±0.25% FSO (H); < ±0.5% FSO (M)
Auto zero function on board / external option
Standard threading 1/2-20UNF, M18x1.5; other versions on request
Other types of diaphragms are available on request
Auto zero function on board / external option
15-5 PH stainless steel diaphragm GTP coated
